Emmanuel Chikumbirike

Biography

I made my first sculpture in 1993 at the age of 22. It was a small elephant piece. My late brother Thomas Chikumbirike was my mentor in carving elephants and my other late brother Gladmore Reza tutored me on figurines.
I've generally lived in Zimbabwe since birth. My work has reached all corners of the world 🌍 in the form of elephant sculptures and figurines. I've also been working on leopard sculptures but on a very limited scale.
